From On the River

The Conversations and Stories assignment is about documenting the quickly forgotten details of conversations about The Grand. These dialogues can be held with anyone from passerby's during studio, to friends, family, acquaintances, etc. (Remember to only write FIRST names, if anything). This assignment, however, isn't only limited to post interaction but can also be completed singularly though simply writing your OWN story. To record and share what we learn, and know, about the river is an important part of understanding The Grand.

How to make a page for a the Conversations and Stories assignment:

Make a separate page for each Story or Conversation. Click the link above. It will ask you to name the page you want to create. Type in a title for your story or conversation Ex. “Conversation with Bill” After typing in a name, it will bring you to an edit content page where you can upload a main photo for you your product, type a description of the conversation (a first name if given permission, where it took place, any details stories or thoughts you find relevant and any other related ideas or content. You can upload more images and/or videos. To mark a map location type in "Grand Rapids" and search for your area. Changing the view to 'satellite' also helps to see landmarks that the other map does not show.
