From On the River
The History Bits assignment is a structure to capture small or large bits of information about the past of the Grand River. It includes ideas and information that inform our thinking about the place and it's use. Please add bits of historic information; large or small. Please cite your sources so others can do follow-up research.
How to make a page for a Show Your Fish:
Make a separate page for each History Bit. Click the link above. It will ask you to name the page you want to create. Type in a very brief description of your History Bit (Ex. “Past uses of the Interurban Bridge”) After typing in a name, it will bring you to an edit content page where you can upload a main photo for you your sample, type your History Bit and the source you used, and upload more images. To mark a map location, type in "Grand Rapids" and search for your area. Changing the view to 'satellite' also helps to see landmarks that the other map does not show.
