From On the River
While walking along and around the river, there are many things to use as a sort of utensil or mark making tool. I found some crumbly brick and decided to see what type of mark it would make. The edge was broad and so while drawing the river, this edge created multiple strokes at one time, making really nice ripples and wavelets. I also experimented rubbing natural materials with the paper. Leaves in particular; a fly topped it off... not planned, but awesome.
