From On the River

We are beginning our work with some assignments to make, gather, or do things along the river. Please follow our progress and join in with your own results. Open Studio Assignments is inspired by the work of Mark Dion and the Learning to Love You More Project.

Resources

Following are inspiring uses of open pedagogical structures in art projects. Such projects are based on a Constructivist approach to learning in which the learner is respected as a knowledge producer and equal. Paolo Frier's work with Liberation Pedagogy is also representative of the political significance of this way of structuring learning and culture.
