Modern vs. Vernacular

Does the value of a place come from plans or individual forming? Is history of use to us now?

Each member of the studio ventured into the neighborhood to find and photograph instances of modern objects juxtaposed physically with vernacular ones. The project resulted in a window display with an explanatory statement in both english and spanish.
